

CLOTHES-PINS STORY LINE
- Water Bottle: People sang a song about Zion by the river in Babylon.
- Jeremiah: Predicted 2 things: Babylon would fall and exiles would go home to Jerusalem.
- King Cyrus: Conquered Babylon. Jeremiah’s first prophecy fulfilled.
- Edict Sign: Exiles go home to Jerusalem and rebuild the House of the Lord. Jeremiah’s second prophecy fulfilled.
- Gold Box: Cyrus returned temple treasures stolen by Nebuchadnezzar.
- Zerubbabel: First group of exiles were builders. They rebuilt the temple and made new altar. People happy and sad. Celebrated Passover.
- Ezra: Second group of exiles were the priests. The people in Jerusalem had forgotten God and worshipped idols.
- Nehemiah: Third group of exiles rebuilt city walls and gates of Jerusalem.
- Mirror: Nehemiah and Ezra read the 5 books God gave Moses. The people were ashamed. God’s word is like a mirror to show our sin.
- Sheep & Goat: Yom Kippur is symbol of time to pay for sins.
- Palm Branch: Feast of Booths to celebrate harvest and remember the Exodus. Listened to stories about God’s mighty deeds.
