1. Christmas Tree: People all around the world celebrate Christmas.
2. Money: They give and receive gifts. Some people think Christmas is only about presents and parties.
3. Prophet: Long ago prophets predicted that one day God would send His son Jesus to the world.
4. Angel: Angels praise God and carry out His commands.
5. Mary: One time a special angel – Gabriel – had some shocking news for Mary – a teenage girl from Nazareth. “You’re going to have a baby!”
6. Joseph: Her husband was also shocked! Angel told him, “Don’t be afraid. The baby is God’s son.”
7. Census: Everyone in Israel had to go home for the census.
8. Baby Jesus: While Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem, Jesus was born.
9. Sheep: An angel visited the shepherds that were watching their sheep. The angel said, “I have good news! The son of God has been born in Bethlehem. The shepherds were AMAZED!
10. Star: People from far away had been waiting on the promised baby. The star led them to the place where He was born.
11. Newspaper: GREAT NEWS! Jesus is born!
12. Gift: It’s nice to give presents, but God’s gift to us is Jesus. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that we might have eternal life.”
